The Meaford karate and Kobudo Club would like to congratulate all members who were successful in testing for their new belts. Junior Black Belt Thomas Humble who has moved one step closer to his Sho Dan in Shito Ryu Karate-do. And, Jamie and Mitchelle who has aquire their 5th kyu.
At the annual award ceremony TOP KARATE KID went to Cole Parsons, MOST IMPROVED went to Ben jamin Kavcic, MOST DEDICATED went to Tylin Rea and OVERALL TOP KARATEKA went to Thomas Humble. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Karate class for 2011 - 2012 season will commence on Tuesday, September, 27th 2011.
The club yearly ranking (test ) will be held at the Meaford Community School on Saturday May 26th 2012, commencing @ 09:00. Ending at 15:00. All students are invited to attend, all who are testing are required to regester at 09:00.
The club will also have a fun tournament on May 31st commencing 18:15. All certifacate and medals will be presented at the annual year end party to be held on June 09, 2012 at 13:00.
Our last class for the season will be on May 31st 2012, and will resume in September 2012 for the 2112-2013 year.
The Meaford Karate and Kobudo Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Meaford Community School at 18:15 to 20:00 and is by invitation only.
